This commissioned painting was completed in 2002 and now hangs in the new addition at the Norfolk International airport.
It proudly welcomes newcomers to Norfolk
and pays homage to the folks
who have contributed so much to the airport over the years.
It also pays special tribute to the the military
and the roll it plays in the community.
The original painting is four feet by eight feet and painted in oil on a masonite panel with multi layer gesso surface.
This magnificent vessel is now moored in downtown Norfolk, Virginia,
at the Nauticus Maritime Center.
She is well worthy of a visit and and there is no cost to board.
